What to do if the electric fan can't turn inside after a long time

Electric fans are appliances that we use regularly to help promote air circulation and also bring cool breezes in the summer. The electric fan is mainly composed of a fan blade and a mesh cover. The rapid rotation of the fan blade drives the surrounding air to flow rapidly, so the electric fan can blow out the wind. So what should I do if the electric fan doesn't turn inside for a long time?

1. What to do if the electric fan can't turn inside after a long time

1. Check if the power plug is loose, and try to plug it into the socket again. Then check if the fan wire is broken. When the wire is folded in half for a long time, the wire is easily broken.

2. After a period of use, the electric fan will be difficult to rotate due to the lack of lubricating oil on the rotating shaft. In the event of a power failure, turn the fan blades by hand. If the fan blades rotate relatively slowly, it can be judged that the motor lacks lubricating oil.

3. The starting capacitor of the electric fan is damaged. Over time, the starting capacitor will gradually lose capacity. Once the capacity drops to a certain level, it will not be able to drive the load, causing the motor to not spin. Need to replace with a new one.

4. The temperature of the electric fan motor is too high, and the short circuit will cause the thermal fuse of the motor to overheat and burn. This is an electric fan used to protect the motor. Thermal fuses are located on the coils of the motor. If the thermal fuse is bad, it has been damaged.

2. Why does the fan not move when it rotates?

May be a control loop problem. When the fan control loop is incomplete, the fan will not operate. Power plugs, fuses, overcurrent protection resistors, and speed control switches may all cause fan problems, and can only be tested with special instruments such as a multimeter. In addition, the capacitor of the fan is a key component of the fan, and the capacitor is also a fragile consumable. If the capacitor is damaged, it can be detected with a multimeter. If there is a problem, please replace the capacitor with a new one in time. Find the matching model capacitor and buy it online.

3. How to maintain the electric fan

1. Before storing the electric fan, it needs to be hygienically cleaned to remove oil and dust, and then wipe it with a soft cloth. It's best to wrap it in kraft paper to prevent dust from falling.

2. If you need to disassemble or assemble the fan, you need to pay special attention to the small screws and components of the fan. Missing parts will cause the fan to loosen and subsequently fail to function properly. Also, during disassembly and assembly, the steps in the installation manual need to be followed to avoid omissions.

3. The maintenance of the plated parts of the electric fan is also particularly important. The surface of the plated parts must be cleaned of dust and moisture with a damp cloth, and then protected by applying a coat of oil on top. In addition, before oiling, be sure to wipe the water stains on the plated parts, otherwise it will easily cause the plated parts to rust.
